ANNOUNCEMENTS:

WORLD AFFAIRS CLUB:   Good morning, World Affairs Club members. Position Paper drafts are due TODAY at 3:00 to Ricky Wu or Alvin Cai. Also, new members, there is a meeting today after school in the LMC. We will be briefly covering parliamentary procedure. For all members, there will be a meeting on Tuesday, October 23rd for the Mock Model UN. Attendance is mandatory for those going to CCWA.

BOWLERS:  If you were not able to attend the meeting, please see Coach DiBernardo in room 219 for the informational packet.

SOPHOMORE CLASS FUNDRAISER:  Hey there you Cavs fans, this week during sixth period there will be a Cavs raffle basket fundraiser for the sophomore class. Tickets are 1 for $1, 6 for $5, and an arm’s length of tickets for $10.There are so many great items in this basket. It includes: two Cavs tickets, an autographed Rodney Hood t-shirt, Cavs hat, coffee mug, and more. This basket is worth over $100, but you only need 1 ticket to win. You can buy tickets during sixth period and if you have any questions, ask a sophomore class officer.

PEER TUTOR:  Good morning Mayfield! Did you know that you have an amazing opportunity to be a peer tutor, right here at Mayfield? 40 students are already giving their time and talents to help their peers and we can’t think of a better way to show our Mayfield Pride.BE A PEER TUTOR! We especially need tutors in chemistry, biology, all the maths and world languages, human anatomy and government. If you’ve got some talent to share, love helping others, or are looking to gain some service hours, please see Miss McBride or pick up a peer tutor application in the guidance office or online.

MOVIE-DRIVE-IN NIGHT:  Movie Drive-In Night is this Saturday in the football stadium. The cost is $10 a car load. Do not drive? Do not worry, bring a chair and come as well! Two films this Saturday. Be there!

WILDCAT SPORT & FITNESS:  Wildcat Sport & Fitness Aquatic Staff will be hosting the Steven Grieshammer Memorial “Just Keep Swimming” Fundraiser. The date is November 10th from 8-12 midnight. You will form teams of 4 or more. Each team will collect donations. Our goal is $3000. For more information, see Mrs. Shoda in the main office or contact Annemarie Finch at Wildcat Sport & Fitness Aquatics supervisor at 216-995-6840.
