Cevec's Mission Statement: Educate, Empower and Employ

Students particiapting with the Community Employment Options Team (CEO) have opportunities to job train in multiple areas of employment.  Students work with staff addressing student PINS (Preferences, Interests, Needs, Strengths) when planning training and job development experiences.

Our training sites include Greater Cleveland Food Bank, Old Navy, TJMAXX, Dave's Market, Double Tree Hotel and the Euclid Animal Shelter. Students work with staff on developing skills for independence, such as pedestrian travel training, public transportation travel training, and CEVEC's employment standards.

Students completing career exploration have opportunities in food prep, assembly, packaging, warehousing, retail, grocery, housekeeping, laundry and animal care.

While participating on the CEO team, students and families are provided information about transtion with adult service agencies to assist with independence. The CEO team provides development in career exploration and job development based on an individual's PINS (Preferences, Interestes, Needs, and Strengths).  The CEO team collaborates with students, families, school districts and adult service agenices for transition planning and employment outcomes.
