Director's Message

Happy New Year Excel TECC Families!  This is such a busy time of the year for our team.  We just completed another successful Opportunity Day/Night which saw over 1000 sophomores visit our programs during the day and over 400 parents visit during our evening program.  In addition, in early January we had our annual Interview Day for current sophomores.  I am proud to say that our Excel TECC programs received over 900 applications from students across our consortium.  Those students who interviewed will be finding out in early February if they have been accepted into a program.  I am so thankful for our team of teachers and support staff as well as all of our guidance counselors across the consortium for all their efforts to ensure that Opportunity Day and Interview Day were a success.  For our current juniors and seniors,  I hope that you are having an excellent year in your career technical program and that you are learning the necessary skills to further your post secondary education and/or careers specific to your program.  Make sure that you have March 11, 2019 circled on your calendars.  On that day at 6:30 p.m. at Mayfield High School, we will hold our annual College Tech Prep night.  At this event, we encourage all parents and students of Excel TECC to attend and learn the processes involved in earning your college credits associtated with your program.  We will have representatives from Cuyahoga Community College and Lakeland Community College.  Please make sure you are checking the Excel TECC webpage and the Excel TECC twitter account for any other updates and as always, never hesitate to contact me directly if you have questions or want to visit!
