The G Suite for Education Core Services, formerly Google Apps for Education, are tools that an entire school system can use, together. Google Classroom, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides and Forms are just a few of the tools provided for you when you have a G Suite for Education account.
With the intended outcome of fostering collaboration between colleagues, we introduce our very own Google Lesson Database. The Google Lesson Database comes to you in two parts. The first is presented via a Google Form. The Google Form will allow teachers to answer a few, very basic, questions, over lessons and activities occuring in their classroom. The second portion of the Google Lesson Database is presented in the form of a Google Spreadsheet. This Google Spreadsheet will hold all of the Google Form results and will allow staff members to sort and filter through lessons that pertain to what is occuring in their classroom.
When submitting a lesson to the Google Lesson Database, remember to think about where your lesson falls within the SAMR Model. If you are unfamiliar with the SAMR Model or need a quick refresher, fell free to watch the above video.
