Very often parents and students ask me for referrals to qualified piano teachers. Over the years, I have collected a list of names of local teachers. This list is NOT comprehensive! There are many teachers out there, and your choice should be based on your own research about methods and personality. Ask friends and acquaintances for references, too.
Please call and speak with the teacher about methods and techniques, and ask if you may observe a lesson before you make a commitment. Success in music lessons depends on the hard work of the child in combination with a teacher who is a good match for your child’s personality.
