*EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION*
The results of the Excel Tecc Early Childhood Education students that competed on Saturday at the University of Akron in the FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) Regional Skills Contest. Kylene Bandelow - Gold Medal in Language and Literacy for senior students Chrissy Nemeth - Gold Medal in Language and Literacy for junior students Matt Shaylor - Silver Medal in Learning Tool Kit for junior students Kylene and Chrissy have qualified to move on to the Ohio State Skills Contest in Columbus in April. Kylene is the 2005 state Gold Medal winner in the same event and looks forward to defend it. Matt is the first Excel Tecc ECE student to ever medal in his event.

NORTHEAST OHIO TECH PREP SHOWCASE The winning Interactive Media senior team took gold medals for the regional Skills USA Tech Prep Showcase competition in Wayne County, which focuses on team job skills. At the Tri-C Tech Prep Showcase on March 14th.the following students presented their program on Cardiac Ablations.
