This year, the students in Jean Getz' Marketing class are working with Doner, a worldwide agency with one of six main offices based in Cleveland. Their task is to begin at square one with market research, and later move on to branding and creative advertising for real-life clients of Doner, including Arby’s and Things Remembered.

The Junior class of the Public Safety Academy had a site visit by the University Hospital MedEvac Helicopter on October 1, 2009. The Flight crew left their base at the Middlefield airport and were hovering above the Richmond Heights football field within 8 minutes. The Helicopter touched down at the 50yd line and students were afforded to talk to the pilot and crew (1 paramedic and 1 flight Nurse) regarding their careers in the EMS field and the opportunties that that career offers.

MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIES |
Racheal Kovacs, Sonia Schemmel and Annie Matz of the Medical Technologies program spent their Junior summer interning at the Cleveland Clinic Metro Campus. All three students worked very hard and walked away from the summer with some amazing experiences. The students worked 40 hours a week for nine weeks and presented a research project at the end of the program.
