Mock
Interview Day Success
Tuesday February
15, 2005 was a busy business day at Mayfield High School as Excel
TECC hosted local business/industry leaders in a Mock Interview
Fair for our students. Over 45 employers volunteered their time
to stage interview sessions with Excel TECC juniors in the morning
and seniors in the afternoon. This 'real life' experience is invaluable
in enhancing the education of students. Thank you to all the participants
and organizers.

Opportunity Day/Night Successful
Prospective
students and their parents braved one of our notorious and too-common
snowstorms to attend Opportunity Day/Night on Wednesday January
5 2005. Tenth grade students from all nine consortium school districts
visited during the day to observe programs of their choice. Their
parents came in the evening for a similar format of Excel TECC
overview and program teacher presentations.
