Arts and Exploratory Classes

Related Arts classes include physical education, art, and music. Exploratory classes include
Family & Consumer Science, Digital Communication, Skills for
Adolescence, Italian, Spanish, Reading Advantage, Art, French, Media Services,
Current Events, Math Advantage, Instrumental Music – Band, Vocal Music, Health,
PE, STEM

Because
of the nature of these classes a level of understanding of 4 is not
expected. Therefore there are only 3
levels on the rubric.

Reporting
in Pinnacle
:
Student performance in these classes will be reported in Pinnacle using the
following terms: Developing, Skilled or Accomplished. Teachers can keep track of performance in
Pinnacle using a 1, 2, or 3 score. A
scale will be used to convert to a final rating of developing, skilled, or
accomplished. The following scale will
be used to convert to an overall rating.

Students will be given Summatives on skill/game parts for each unit completed during PE.
