Class Description:
Welcome to Mrs. Mckay's language arts class!
"The single most important activity for building the knowledge required for eventual success in reading is reading aloud to children.  It is a practice that should continue throughout the grades."--1985 Commission on Reading

The main goal in this class is for students to enjoy reading and writing throughout the year.  In order to improve in anything, we need to practice, practice, practice.  Therefore, in language arts, we will practice reading and writing often.  Have a great year!
