Tennis

On Wednesday, the 7th-8th grade girls’ tennis team lost their match to Beachwood.  One bright spot for Mayfield was the doubles’ victory earned by 8th grade partners Danielle Prilepskiy and Vishista Nayak, 8-6. Yesterday, the girls were victorious in a rematch against Hawken.  Hawken brought 17 girls, so our 8 had their work cut out for them.  The girls all played doubles—-twice!  Winning both of their matches  6-2 were partners Danielle and Vishista, and partners  Annabelle Kamerman and Rakshan Malik.  Winning their first match 6-1 were partners Reese Ungier and Kyndal Murchison.  Our record is now  4-5.
