Requirements to be a Mayfield Athlete

Any student interested in participating in athletics at Mayfield High School is required to:
* achieve at least a 1.5 GPA in the most recently completed grading period
* earn a minimum of 1.25 credits in the most recently completed grading period
* be enrolled in at least 1.25 credits
* have a complete Final Forms account, which includes all parent and student signatures, a current physical on file, and a current ImPACT concussion test

Parking at the school is free.  Parking at the stadium is $5.  Handicapped parking is at the stadium.

Parking lots open at 5:00 PM.  The stadium will open at 5:30 PM.

Ticket Information:  All tickets at the gate are $9

Presale Ticket Sales:      All presale tickets are $8.  Mayfield receives a portion of all presale ticket sold.

                                           Children under 5 are free

Tickets for the public will be on sale from 4:30 PM-6:30 PM on Thursday, November 1st inside

MHS main entrance, cash only. Tickets will also be on sale for student purchase during all lunch periods on Friday, 11/2.  No tickets will be sold after 1:00 PM on Friday.

Winter Sports Tryout Information

All students interested in participating in a winter sport must have a complete Final Forms account prior to the first day of practice.  This includes having all necessary parent and student signatures, a current physical, and a current ImPACT concussion test.   If you have sport-specific questions, click on the Athletic Department Directory for a list of head coaches.  The mandatory preseason parent meeting will be held in the MHS cafeteria at 7:00 PM on 10/15.  Frank Dorazio from Dynamite Sports will be there as well to talk about the college recruiting process.  All students need at least a 1.5 GPA, pass 1.25 credits, and fail no more than one course in the first quarter to be academically eligible.
Winter Sport Start Dates:
10/26:      Girls Basketball, Swimming & Diving, Hockey
11/2:        Boys Basketball (grades 10-12), Gymnastics
11/5:        Freshman Boys Basketball, Bowling 
11/9:        Wrestling

Stevie Grieshammer Memorial "Just Keep Swimming" Fundraiser

Proceeds will be used to provide cardiac screenings through mCore
When: November 10, 2018  8:00 PM to Midnight
Where: Wildcat Sport and Fitness: 6116 Wilson Mills Rd, Mayfield Village, OH 44143
What do you need to do: Form a team of 4 or more and collect donations or pledges
                                             During the  4 hour event, at least one team member must be swimming at all times
                                             Nonswimmers will have the opportunity to walk the track at Wildcat Sport and Fitness 
The goal is $3,000.  Checks should be made out to the Mayfield Athletic Boosters

Winter Sports Parent Meeting/College Recruiting Seminar

The Mayfield Athletic Department and Dynamite Sports are presenting a college recruiting seminar at Mayfield High School on October, 15th beginning at 7:00 PM.  Important information for winter sports parents will be discussed first, but all families with students in grades 9-12 are invited to attend.  All attendeess will receive a free SAT/SAT Prep DVD (1 per family).  Click Here for more information.
