Monday 10/17: Students will complete an off-site work project. Students will follow all safety procedures will in transportation and while utilizing power and hand tools. Student leaders will be assigned.
Tuesday 10/18: Students will maintain greenhouse crops. Students will remove composted plants and apply slow release fertilizer following specifications. Students will scout for insects and report to instructor. Proper irrigation techniques will be demonstrated.
Wednesday 10/19: Students will welcome a guest speaker. Mrs. Carmela Hayes. Topics include: first impressions, interviewing techniques, handshakes, body language, success, proper dress, personal hygiene, etc. Students will actively participate in discussions. Students will draw on past experiences.
Thursday 10/20: Students will virtual learn academics. Proper computer skills will be demonstrated. one submission will be completed in each assigned course. Students will host a field trip. Proper communication skills will be demonstrated.
Friday 10/21: Students will conduct an off-site work project. Students will safely utilize hand and power equipment. Ear and eye protection will be worn. Students will remove annuals and prune perennials and grasses. Students will demonstrate teamwork and communication skills while completing project. students will bag and compost efficienty.
