Monday 9/19: Students will complete an off-site project at Progressive Insurance. Students will recall the process of fall display creation and complete within allotted time. Students will follow verbal directions and demonstrations to create large corn stalk displays with the addition of pumpkins, corn, hay bales and mums. Students will recall proper planting techniques and clean-up procedures.
Tuesday 9/20: Students will remove plants from first greenhouse, sanitize, scout for insect populations and spray for weeds. Tables will be prepared for Poinsettia crop. Students will begin the process of a 10 specimen deciduous leaf collection. All specimens will be labeled with common name and leaf arrangement.
Wednesday 9/21: Students will complete written tests (ID and spelling). A short answer test will also be given. Written assignments are to be turned in. Students will ask questions of new assignment. Small group work. Students will participate in a discussion with Mr. Hayes. The topic will be relationships and 'crossing the line'.
Thursday 9/22: Students will complete the academic classes for the week via Virtual Learning lab. Students will follow all rules of the computer lab. Students will work in an efficient manner and ask questions of teacher when needed. Students will complete one lesson in each class assigned.
Friday 9/23: Students will conduct an off-site project in the community. Travel safety procedures will be followed. students will conduct themselves in a professional manner and follow all safety procedures. Students will complete all tasks to customers satisfaction. Students will clean-up all walkways and patios and gather all tools prior to leaving job site.
