STUDENT ART SHOW "NEW PERSPECTIVES" OPENS APRIL 9TH
The community is invited to attend the Mayfield City Schools student art show at the atrium of Hillcrest Hospital. The opening reception will be Sunday, April 9 from 1-3 p.m. Refreshments will be served during the reception which is free and open to the public.
More than 400 pieces of original art by Mayfield students in Kindergarten through 12th grade will be on display from April 9 - 21st. Student art will include such medias as drawing, mixed media, print making, digital art and multimedia.
The Mayfield City Schools student art show exemplifies the importance of art and art education. It is made possible by the enormously talented art teachers of the Mayfield City Schools and their students who have blossomed into true artists.
The event has been proudly sponsored by The Mayfield Alliance for the last 16 years.
