Mayfield High School Staff members like to recognize students who depict “The Wildcat Way.”
Each month a department will collaborate and choose a student to be “The Wildcat Student of the Month.” Our Student of the Month is featured on our school’s website and receives a free pizza from Pizza Roma.
This month, the Mathematics department recognizes, senior, Jeremy Sorkin , as the Wildcat Student of the Month!
Jeremy is currently taking AP Calculus BC and in this class and during Math 3-4 was working weeks, sometime quarters ahead of the class, including the instructors. Jeremy has an unmatched quest for knowledge and understanding of all things mathematical. This is evident by his practice of filling the white board with equations, diagrams and figures, as many of his former and current classmates can attest.
