Monday 8/29: Off-Site work project will be conducted. Supervisory roles will be appointed. Professionalism and teamwork skills will be displayed. Edging, pruning and weeding. Customer satisfaction.
Tuesday 8/30: Students will participate in an FFA introduction lesson. Role playing activities. Leadership and citizenship will be discussed. Introduction to Parliamentary Procedure. Greenhouse maintenance. Insect inventory.
Wednesday 8/31: Complete written identification and spelling tests. Understand and demonstrate proper test taking skills. Students will present career reports. Demonstrate proper listening and questioning techniques. Students will read Parts of a Plant unit and answer self evaluation questions. Vocabulary will be stressed. Use of flash cards.
Thursday 9/1: Students will participate in virtual learning. Students will complete two submissions. Students will demonstrate listening skills and show good time management. Students that have completed assignments will work in a lab setting in the greenhouse. Irrigation and plant maintenance.
Friday 9/2: Students will participate in an Off-Site work project and demonstrate all instructor expectations. Edging and weeding techniques will be demonstrated. Practice weed identification. Students will demonstrate good work skills. Expectations will be demonstrated. Proper tool loading techniques will be utilized.
