The Ohio State Board of Education names the Mayfield City School District and Mayfield High School "Momentum Award" designees
The Ohio State Board of Education has granted Mayfield High School and the Mayfield City School District with the 2016-17 Momentum Award. Now in its third year, the Momentum Award program is the State board's way of recognizing schools and school districts that have earned A's on each Value-Added measure included on Ohio's school and district report cards.
The Momentum Award shows student achieved greater than expected growth in reading and mathematics. This year marks the second consecutive year Mayfield High School has earned the award.
