Week #14 November 14-18

Monday 11/14:Students will complete an off site work project.  Demonstration of proper techniques while in transportation and when using power and hand tools.  Eye and ear protection are to be utilized for the entire project.  Foremen will be assigned.

Tuesday 11/15:  Students will create holiday centerpieces following proper procedure and steps given by instructor.  Students will demonstrate caution when using hand pruners or floral knives.  Students will prepare speeches for the Feast and present to class.

Wednesday 11/16: Students will participate in a lab experience creating candled centerpieces or mugs. Proper skills will be utilized and proportion will be practiced.  Pricing will be reviewed.  Students will study greenery and supply identification.

Thursday 11/17: FFA Officer luncheon.  All officers will collaborate and discuss the direction of the 4 FFA classes.  Proper etiquette will be expected and demonstrated. Students will maintain building and set up for the Feast.  Proper formal table setting format will be utilized.  Review of expectations will be discussed with all participating classes. Students will virtual learn demonstrating proper use of the computer lab.

Friday 11/18: The 8th Annual Feast.  Students will demonstrate proper etiquette and communication skills for this activity.  Good listening techniques and proper dress will also be demonstrated.
