Mayfield Schools will soon begin registration for Kindergarten for the 2014-15 school year.
     If your child will be five years old on or before August 1, 2014, and you are a legal resident of the Mayfield City School District, your child is eligible to attend Kindergarten.
     Kindergarten registration will take place at the Mayfield Board of Education the week of March 3-6 from 8:30 a.m.– 3:30 p.m. each day.   Please see the Kindergarten registration/screening schedule for the date of your child’s home school.

            Parent(s)/guardian(s) will need to schedule an appointment with your child’s home school, at least one week before your school’s registration date.
YOUR CHILD MUST ATTEND. Registration/screening will take place in the Irene Kay Conference Room at the Mayfield Board of Education, 1101 SOM Center Rd. in Mayfield Heights (located next to Mayfield Middle School.)
During the appointment, staff will review registration materials and complete the vision and hearing screening with your child.
You will need to bring:
• A completed Kindergarten registration packet which is available online at the district website: under the Registration tab. If you do not have access to the Internet, a packet may be picked up at the Board of Education prior to the week of registration
• Original birth certificate
• Two (2) current proofs of residency (see Registration Packet instructions for acceptable proof of residency)
• Complete immunization records;
     Please bring original documents of all items and copies will be made at the time of the registration/screening.   PLEASE NOTE: Your child must attend the registration/screening appointment.
