2014 CADD/CONSTRUCTION TRADES OPEN HOUSE

The third annual CADD/ConstructionTrades Open House was held in the Excel TECC wing at Mayfield High School on May 23. CADD Senior teams designed, and completed construction drawings, for the two modular homes constructed by the Construction Trades program. This years’ project included a two-story Cape Cod-style home, a single-story Ranch-style home and featured a bridge between the existing and new two-story homes. The Environmental Education program landscaped the project, and the Visual Art and Design program provided artwork to decorate the homes. This is a truly collaborative project! Senior CADD students Samantha Bishop and Joe Centrackio delivered a presentation outlining the CADD team’s processes and experiences with the project, and guests then toured the homes.

SMILE MISSION - Thank You to Attendees & Sponsors

The first community "Smile Mission" was held on May 10. The old Regional Mayfield Library was transformed into a free dental clinic for the Mayfield school district communities.
