Summative will be administered in two parts:

Part I covering content vocabulary RL.8.3 & L.8.4

Part II:Two reading passages, multiple choice questions and written responses covering RL.8.3 & L.8.4.

RL.8.3. I can analyze how particular lines of dialogue or incidents in a story or drama propel the action, reveal aspects of a character, or provoke a decision.

L.8.4.I can determine or clarify the meaning of unknown and multiple-meaning words or phrases based on grade 8 reading and content, choosing flexibly from a range of strategies.
