Monday 9/12: Students will participate in an off-site FFA meeting. Parliamentary procedure will be practiced. Students will demonstrate proper speaking and listening skills. Secretaries minutes will be kept. Students will participate in FFA activity. Parade preparation.
Tuesday 9/13: Students will complete a floral design order. Greenhouse irrigation and maintenance techniques will be practiced. Weed control. Insect and disease scouting. Small group work.
Wednesday 9/14: Students will participate in a class discussion (expectations, attitude, professionalism). Written tests will be completed. Students will ask questions about weekly assignment. FFA meeting will be reviewed. Responsibilities of each officer will be discussed. Each student will bring a motion to the table. Students will complete a lesson regarding proper mulching techniques in lab. Completion of mulch in assigned areas.
Thursday 9/15: No classes.
Friday 9/16: Off-site work project. Students will participate in a project at Progressive Insurance. Students will follow safety procedures and display outstanding work skills and professionalism. Students will demonstrate proper mulching techniques.
