Each year, new bus schedules for Mayfield Public Schools, along with St. Francis and St. Paschal, are initially based upon bus stops which were actively utilized the previous school year. In addition, new bus stops are continually built into these standing schedules as needed for upcoming elementary and middle school students, along with “opt-in” requests from high school and private school students residing within the district. Students are welcome to use any of the stop locations currently listed for their street. If no convenient bus stop currently exists, students may also stand at the end of their driveway (on a traveled street) at the appropriate time to be picked up and added to their bus’s stop schedule. Bus riders are required to be at their bus stop “place of safety” five minutes prior to the expected arrival of the bus, as this is very important to maintaining schedules for everyone.
