Innovative Options

This program is designed to use both the classroom environment and an introduction to a community work experience. Our classroom ratio is 3 students to one staff. The IO2 program offers a community experience with recycling Mayfield HS, Lander Elementary, Board Office, and bus garage, as well as, CEVEC itself. The program also works at Sky Zone Highland Hts. 3 times a week to clean and do laundry and cleans Powerhouse Gym 3 times a week. In the classroom, the program has taken on a job for Cardinal Health cleaning 160 medical totes that are used in Cleveland Clinic hospitals. Other jobs in the classroom include packaging for Stinger Tee, packing and sorting for specific companies, as well as, folding menus for Hillcrest Hospital and cutting/shredding recycling paper to be used at animal recues.

Training Sites/Businesses Utilized (will be listed as bullet points….include all): Sky Zone Highland Hts., Powerhouse Gym, Dugout Club
