Alpha Academy (AA) is an alternative high school program. AA offers highly individualized programming. Students enrolled in the AA program complete their academic requirements through the Jefferson virtual learning program, which is supported and supplemented by an intervention specialist. Students can work at their own pace which is especially valuable for students that need to recover credits. The AA staff is in regular communication with families as to their students' progress. AA is linked with all the CEVEC vocational programs which can offer job/career counseling, job placement and post-secondary education counseling as well as mental health services provided by a licensed social worker. Many frustrated parents have signed their child up for services through Alpha Academy not sure if their child is going to graduate. These same parents are usually pleasantly surprised to watch their child walk the stage and accept their high school diploma on time.
Chris Lauretig is the Interventionist for this program and the main contact. Chris can be reached at (440) 995-7461 or email@example.com
Ryan Schuman is the classroom tutor who specializes in math.
Christian Davis is the para-professional who assists in the classroom.
