I am excited to begin my fifth year at Mayfield. This is my 14th year teaching. I began my career in a northeastern suburb of Cincinnati where I taught World History, U.S. History and Honors U.S. History as well as coached Cross Country and Track. I relocated to the Cleveland area to be closer to family. This year I will be teaching AP Government and World History. I became a social studies teacher, because I believe students cannot know where they are going unless they look at the past. My goal is to help students gain a better understanding of their world and become educated citizens. I look forward to working with the students of Mayfield. ~Mr. Pubentz
