College Credit Plus

MMS College Credit Plus Page

Hello Mayfield Middle School students and families.

On Thursday, January 18th at 6:30 pm in the Think Tank (Media Center/Library), Mayfield Middle School will be holding a College Credit Plus (CCP) informational meeting for those students and parents that may be interested in the CCP process. College Credit Plus is a program that allows students in grades 7-12 to take college courses while in middle/high school.  In order to participate in CCP, students must meet college admission requirements and deadlines and provide their own transportation if taking an in person class.  If you would like further information on CCP before the January 18th meeting, please see the Mayfield Middle School counseling CCP webpage or the Mayfield High School counseling CCP webpage.

If you/your student would like further information regarding College Credit Plus and/or believe they may want to participate in CCP next school year, please plan to attend the CCP meeting on January 18th. Attendance at this meeting is highly recommended if students want to participate in CCP next school year. If you/your student is not interested in CCP for next school year, you do not need to attend this meeting.

Please note that the high school will be hosting a CCP meeting on Tuesday, January 23rd.  Similar information will be provided, but the meeting at MMS will be specifically geared towards middle school students.  However, if you are unable to attend the meeting at the middle school on January 18th, you may attend the meeting at the high school on January 23rd.

If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Sheppard at Mayfield Middle School.
