Stakes Manufacturing
CEVEC is in a proud Career Exploration partnership with Stakes Manufacturing. Stakes is a company located in Eastlake, Ohio and is a t-shirt/athletic apparel screen print company. CEVEC students participate in a half day program for 1 1/2 hours and consists of various job rotations and mentorship opportunities around the plant.
Students are exposed to the safety and work requirements of a working business and learn the skills needed to be independent for a period of time. Students are exposed to rotations that include, shipping and receiving, environmental services, order picking, fulfillment, material handling, inspection and prep/packaging.
All students are matched with mentors to learn their specific job rotation and on the job training with all of the real world expectations applied. Students are given an environment to learn, make mistakes and become as independent as possible.
