Language Arts
In Language Arts, we have been focusing on literature comprehension. We have been reading several passages and recalling important information. In class, we have been writing multiparagraph essays based on the readings.
Science
We are studing the solar system. We have read articles about each planet as well as the Sun. Last week, we did inner planet stations. This week we will complete stations that focus on the outer planets.
Social Studies
Our new unit in Social Studies is Economics. Your child has learned about Supply and Demand and we are now focusing on trade.
