Principal's Message

Principal's Message

Hello Mustang families!

I hope this message finds you well.  We are excited for you to be a part of Wildcat nation and specifically Millridge Elementary School.  Please read on for some highlights of our school!

-  The United Houses of Millridge is both our culture and our community at school.  The six houses, or collective groups that make up our school are below.  Each house has a positive character trait that we strongly believe will benefit our students and our community when practiced.

House Aimtinan, or House of Graditude (Aim-tin-in) is our Purple house
House Onesta, House of Honesty (Oo-nes-ta) is our Yellow house
House Pono, House of Positivity (Poe-know) is our Orange house
House Ububele, House of Compassion (Oo-boo-bey-ley) is our Red house
House Vertrauen, House of Confidence (Vert-tran) is our Grey house
House Wajibu, House of Responsibility (Wat-ti-boo) is our Blue house

Our continued focus on Essentials, and specifically our student core four, will bring about respect throughout the building.  You can also look forward to many exciting events during the year that celebrate who we are as Mustangs and as House members.  All students and staff in grades K-5 are sorted into a house and remain with those peers throughout  their time at Millridge.

 -  All Access Learning is not just a phrase to us!  It is a way of providing meaningful learning experiences for our students.  It's about truly personalizing learning to meet the needs of your child, as no child learns in the same way.  Our collaborative approach to education is at the core of providing your child with the best possible learning experience.  We believe and use a blended learning environment where students are engaged in physical and virtual tasks that are geared towards their learning style and how they navigate the curriculum.  We are here to support all Mustangs!

Thank you for being a true partner in your child's education!  We look forward to working with each family during the school year!

Be well!  Keep smiling.
