Two-year program: grades 11-12
The Medical Assisting Program is designed to prepare students to handle both the clinical duties and administrative responsibilities in a medical setting. Students learn anatomy and physiology, medical office protocol, vital signs, and patient care. Medical terminology, medical ethics, office skills, and basic patient care are included. Classroom and clinical settings offer a variety of opportunities for learning. Senior year of the program is designed to prepare students for work in the medical field. Students participate in externships gaining real patient care experiences.

- Work Experience: Medical Assistant for 23 years; as well as a STNA for 15 years with 9 years working Hospice care; University Hospitals Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Specialists, Podiatry and Wound care; Cleveland Clinic Family Practice;
- Awards: Dean’s List-Kee Business College.
- Hobbies: Baking/Cooking, Gardening, Being outdoors, and demolition/remodeling projects with my husband.
