COLLEGE CREDITS - Tech Prep/CT2
Two-year program: grades 11-12

The Medical Technologies program prepares students with an interest in the medical professions. The development of the attitudes, practices, technical and academic skills necessary for employment in medical, allied health occupations and diagnostic treatment facilities is essential to the pursuits of  post-secondary education.

The students will participate in instructional, laboratory and clinical experiences designed to prepare individuals in direct patient care, diagnostic, therapeutic and treatment options. Students will participate in an internship under the supervision of physicians, dentists, nurses, emergency personnel, therapists and other allied health staff.

The course is intended for those students who are serious about an educational future in the medical/allied health occupations and diagnostic sciences. Med Tech is a program that articulates with colleges, allowing some students to receive college credit in high school.
