ALTERNATIVE PUBLIC QUESTION METHOD
Notice is hereby given that the regular meeting of the Mayfield City School District Board of Education on February 24, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. will be conducted virtually at the following link:
Due to the continued COVID-19 pandemic and in compliance with the Ohio Department of Health order that all residents continue to practice appropriate social distancing along with the temporary authorization provided in House Bill 197 for boards of education to hold remote meetings during the duration of a health emergency; the Mayfield Board of Education continues its suspension of its community communications/public comments section of its regular meeting agendas until the COVID-19 emergency ceases.
However, the Board of Education recognizes the value to school governance of public comment on educational issues and the importance of allowing members of the public to express themselves on school matters of community interest.
In order to meet this expectation, interested community members may submit questions regarding the board agenda to Laurie Uhlir, Community Relations Director at [email protected] beginning at 12:00pm (Noon) on Friday, February 19, 2021. Questions received addressing an agenda item will be responded to by district officials via email. Please include in the subject line: Mayfield Board of Education February 24, 2021 meeting.
