What's Happening?
As the All Star Team, we have decided to do one final fundraiser before the year comes to an end! In honor our team member, Justin, we are raising money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. One way we are fundraising is "Stall the Teacher." This will happen on Friday, May 24th during 1st period. Students are encouraged to bring in change. Teachers cannot start their lesson until they count all of the money, coin by coin!
In addition- on Wednesday, May 29th, students can pay $1 to play dodge ball during our Advisory SSR day. They may choose to do the same on Thursday, May 30 to take on their teachers!
All Star team will be traveling on Lolly the Trolley to tour various ethnic markets in Cleveland. The field trip is on Friday, May 31st. We will leave school at 10:30 and return at 2:30. Students may choose to bring spending money to buy lunch and snacks at the markets, or may bring a brown bagged lunch.
As a conclusion to the Kidney Fundraiser that we held in March, some teachers and students will be walking in the Kidney Walk on June 9th. The link is included below if your child would like to sign up to walk with us. The site does ask for a minimum fundraising goal of $100 but the students do NOT have to donate that much to walk. Also, please be aware that this walk is NOT a school sponsored event eventhough we will be there walking with the team.
