Your child will have
math homework everyday!!

Your child is expected
to read aloud to you for a minimum of
15 minutes everyday.

Even though your child
may not have homework in a given subject, it is expected he/she studies the
lesson taught each day.

We will be reviewing
skills for the SCA #3 on Monday, December 13. Skills that will be on the Test are: Compare/Contrast, Fact/Opinion,
Prefix/Suffix, and Inferencing/ Drawing Conclusions. There will be a study guide passed out this week that
students need to be studying.
There will be a short homework assignment passed out on Monday and it is
due On Tuesday. There will also be
a short review skill quiz on Friday.

We will begin reviewing for our Changes in
the Earth's Surface Short Cycle
Assessment on December 14th. Study
Guides will be going out on Tuesday December 7th. There will be homework on
Thursday.

Students will learn
the steps Ohio took to become a state, and complete a worksheet to check their
understanding of what they read. This also gives practice in how to go back and
reread for information. We will also review cause and effect. Students will
receive their study guide for SCA 3 on Wednesday. They need to study every
night for the test on Wednesday, December 15th. Tuesday's homework is a
worksheet on homographs. It is due on Wednesday.
