The required spring sports parent meeting will be held in the Mayfield High School cafeteria on Thursday, February 15th at 7:00 PM. A number of imporant topics will be discussed, especially those specific to spring sports schedules and cancellations.
Requirements for Athletic Eligibility
Academic: min 1.5 GPA in the preceding grading period
passed 1.25 credits in the preceding grading period and enrolled in 1.25 credits
no more than one failed course in the preceding grading period
Conditional Eligibility: only applies when the student has met the minimum academic requirements, but failed one course
A complete Final Forms account including a current physical on file, current ImPACT concussion test, and all signatures
Important Dates
2/19: first official day of baseball & softball practice/tryouts
3/5: first official day of track and tennis
3/8: last day of the third grading period
3/13: academic eligibility based on third quarter grades goes into effect
