Notice is hereby given that the date and start time of the Regular April Board Meeting of the Mayfield City School District Board of Education has been changed from May 20th at 7:00 p.m. to May 27th 5:30 p.m. and will be conducted virtually at the following link:
The regular meeting agenda will be available at 12:00 pm (Noon) on Friday, May 22nd
and can be found at https://go.boarddocs.com/oh/mayoh/Board.nsf/Public
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and in
compliance with the Ohio Department of Health order that all residents continue to practice appropriate social distancing along with the temporary authorization provided in House Bill 197 for boards of education to hold remote meetings during the duration of a health emergency; the
Mayfield Board of Education suspends its
community communications/public comments section of its regular meeting agendas
until the COVID-19 emergency ceases.
However, the Board of Education recognizes the value
to school governance of public comment on educational issues and the importance
of allowing members of the public to express themselves on school matters of
community interest. In order to meet this expectation, interested community members may submit
questions regarding the board agenda to Laurie Uhlir, Community Relations
Director at email@example.com, beginning at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) on Friday, May 22, 2020. Questions received addressing an agenda item will be responded to by district officials via email. Please include in the subject line: Mayfield Board of Education May 27 meeting.
