Once again, Mayfield Athletics  is partnering with mCORE to offer voluntary cardiac screenings for Mayfield student-athletes.  The process is in place to screen athletes for the cardiac conditions and abnormalities which may put them at risk of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA).  Screenings will take place from 8:00-4:00 and require approximately 10-12 minutes.  All screenings are performed by a registered diagnostic cardiac sonographer and results are read by a board certified cardiologist.  Screenings at the high school will take place on Monday, August 20, and Tuesday, August 21 (8/21 SOLD OUT).  Screenings at the middle school will take place on Wednesday, August 22.
