Currently, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, students are not allowed to train at the hospital. The Clinic does want our students back. Once safety measures are in place, we will return to our hands-on training.
CEVEC is fortunate to have partnered with the Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital where students have the opportunity to explore different jobs in the Health Care field. Students do four week rotations through 10 different departments where they perform hands-on entry level jobs. Students are at Hillcrest four days a week. Monday is our classroom day where students learn HIPAA regulations, how to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Hand Washing, Medical Vocabulary, Interviewing Skills, and Employment Expectations and Skills.
