Spring Sports Recognition Night
The Athletic Department will host the spring sports recognition night on Tuesday May 28th at 6:00 pm in the auditorium at Mayfield High School. Following the intitial presentation, individual sports will move to the following locations: Track: auditorium, Baseball: cafeteria, Tennis: room 100, Softball: senior commons
Men's Track and Field Team Takes NOC Championship
In dramatic fashion, the men's track team won the NOC River Division track meet on Wednesday,May 15th. Drazen Markovic was named "Player of the Year" after winning the long jump, and finishing as runner up in the high jump, 300 meter hurdles, and as a member of the 4x400 meter relay. Other Mayfield individual champions include Andy Isabella in the 100 meter dash, and the 4x200 meter relay team of Andy Isabella, Harold Edmonds, Chris Arihilam, and Cory Smith.
On the girls side, Gianna Dipippo won the shot put, and Marissa Handel won the 400 meter dash.
Shouta Fukamachi: NOC Tennis Champion and District Qualifier
The Mayfield junior won the NOC Championship at first singles and placed second at the Solon Sectional tournament. He will compete this week in the District tournament at Oberlin College.
Shannon Zajek and Anthony Canganelli Named STACK Magazine Student-Athlete Ambassadors
Shanon and Anthony, both rising seniors, have been selected by STACK Magazine to serve in its first student-athlete ambassador class. The student-athletes selected must possess leadership skills on and off the playing field, be dedicated, and reliable leaders within their school and community. STACK ambassadors will take part in outreach programs, research, and feedback programs related to interscholasitc athletics.

Mayfield Swimmer Zack Milenius Named Plain Dealer All-Star
Zack finished seventh in the Division I state 500 free and eighth in the 200 free. He was third in both of those events at the CSU district. Helped the Wildcats take sixth in the 400 free relay.
