Late Start Wednesdays begin August 28th Late Start Wednesdays begin August 28th

Wednesday, August 28th will be our first late start PLC Wednesday.  Students need to be in homeroom by 8:40 on Wednesdays (click "read more" to see bell schedule).  Any students who arrive before 8:30, during PLC time, must report to one of the designated supervised locations, which includes the cafeteria, LMC, or gymnasium.  Students must be passing all classes to be permitted in the gymasium on late start Wednesdays. We look forward to welcoming you to Mayfield High School for the 2019-2020 school year!  Incoming ninth-graders, please plan to attend our Wildcat Focus Camp on Monday, August 5th, from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday, August 6th, from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.  A wide range of activities are planned to help orient you to daily life at Mayfield High School!  Parents, please plan on joining us on August 5th at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium for a brief orientation meeting and the distribution of Chromebooks.

Parking Permits due by August  30th. Parking Permits due by August 30th.

Students who drive to school must obtain a student parking hangtag, to be displayed in their vehicle, by August 30th.  The parking permit application is attached, available by following the link below and is also found in the Student Affairs office.  Payment for parking permits are to be made on-line, through the parent portal. After payment is made, parking permit applications should be returned to the office and hangtags will be issued.

All students entering 12th grade are required to have two doses of Meningococcal vaccine prior to the start of the school year in August 2019.                                                           

 

Your healthcare provider can administer these vaccines or you can contact the Cuyahoga County Board of Health at 216-201-2041 for an appointment at one of their clinics.

 

If your child has already had these vaccines, please provide an updated vaccine record to the school either by fax 440-995-6805, scan, or sending in a copy with your student to drop off at the Clinic.
