On June 4 - 6 Mayfield High School will use a different class schedule in order to permit students in grades 9 - 11 to take their final exams.  Students will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday.  On Thursday all students will be dismissed at 10:55 a.m.  Please click on "learn more" for complete details concerning the class schedule for these days.

Top 40 students share their stories, gratitude with their most influential teachers during the 2013 Excellence Reception

Congratulations to junior Tom Milyo on earning a perfect score on the ACT college admission and placement exam.  Out of 1.66 million students who took the ACT in 2012 only 781 earned a composite score of 36.   Tom becomes the fifth Mayfield student to earn a perfect score in the last six years.  The others are Mark Levin 2008, Yongija "Jenny" Liu 2009, Corey Blackwell 2011, and Evan Kominisky 2012.  Kudos to Tom and to all of his teachers who helped make this happen.

The Washington Post identified Mayfield High School as one of the most challenging high schools in the country and the 27th most challenging in Ohio.  "There are 614 school districts and over 800 high schools in Ohio, so being 27th is quite an accomplishment," said Principal Tony Loewer
