Hello, Mayfield!

The Office of Community Relations serves as a bridge between Mayfield City Schools and the communities we serve. Our goal is to share the stories, achievements, programs, services and opportunities that make Mayfield a special place to learn, work and live.

Mayfield City Schools has a strong tradition of excellence, and that tradition is strengthened every day through the partnerships we have built with our parents, families, community members, local government, businesses and organizations.

It has been said that a community is only as strong as its schools. In Mayfield, that connection runs deep. Our four communities — Mayfield Heights, Mayfield Village, Highland Heights and Gates Mills — are vibrant places to live and work, and our schools, teachers, staff, students, and parents are at the heart of each community.

If you have a story about a Mayfield student, an accomplishment that deserves to be celebrated, or an example of how Mayfield City Schools is making a difference in your organization or community, please reach out. We are always looking for meaningful stories that showcase the people, partnerships and experiences that make up the Mayfield Family.

We also welcome community members and parents who would like to get involved. There are many opportunities to volunteer in our schools, including reading with students, tutoring, assisting in classrooms or lending a hand in an office. Whether you have a few hours a week or simply want to find a way to contribute, we would love to connect with you.
