Licensure renewal window open for applications

The Ohio Department of Education’s online application system is open for renewal applications. Educators with licenses expiring can submit applications now – as long as they meet renewal requirements. The Ohio Department of Education has an updated, easier-to-use Connected Ohio Records for Educators (CORE) application system.

Educators should log in to their OH|ID accounts (formerly SAFE) to access CORE. Users can access the OH|ID portal by clicking the “Login” link at the top of the Ohio Department of Education's Homepage or by going directly to the OH|ID portal at ohid.ohio.gov. Login to your OH|ID account and click on ODE.CORE (Online Licensure System), then click on My Credentials to start the process.
